Right now it’s a bit of a crazy time. Nothing really bad is happening – in fact, loads of good stuff is happening. So don’t let me complain too loudly! What’s hard is setting priorities.
Farrah, Zachariah and I are going to college in September (yes, next month!) and we have a lot to do before then. We were hoping to focus this summer on building friendships and partnerships, ready for our big move to China next year. But it’s turned out that the thing that eats away our time is getting the house ready for renting. This is a practical, non-relational thing that has to be done, but I feel like we’re missing out on some important time that we could be spending with people. People are much more important than things.
